• At the same time, disasters are generally multi-state, large scale events appropriate for the authority and support of the federal government, and the administration is saying the state should handle it.

this is the message I always tried to convey... think what you want about that leader but the man (and woman if she won) will have put in place actual competent people that know how the country actually works... wait until the MAGA really start getting affected by all this. Yeah, but the democrats are big government people who want the president and the feds involved in everything. The republicans are conservative and want to limit the power of the president and the feds.
