It's a combination of the lunar cycle, math, and full moon fever :D

  • Lunar Cycle:
Easter's calculation is intertwined with the lunar cycle, specifically the full moon that occurs after the spring equinox.

  • Spring Equinox:
The spring equinox, when the sun crosses the celestial equator, is a key marker in the calendar. While the actual date can vary, the Catholic Church has fixed it as March 21 for the purposes of calculating Easter.

  • First Sunday After:
Easter is always celebrated on the first Sunday following the full moon that is on or after the ecclesiastical spring equinox (March 21).

  • Mathematical Calculation:
The date of the Paschal full moon, and therefore Easter, is determined through a mathematical calculation that considers both the lunar cycle and the fixed spring equinox date.

Honestly, I'd rather have Canadian oil go to America than China, but the asshat in the White House started this trade war and at the end of the day, somebody else can certainly make use of Canada's liquid gold.
What if it could go to Americans, not specifically to America? And we both could profit nicely? Are you on Signal? Let's continue this there....

lol I am dead inside but I cannot stop laughing. I made the wise choice of clicking on a story about the "special meaning behind Katy taking a flower to space". She took a daisy, because her daughter is named Daisy (father Orlando Bloom lol) so it was like taking her daughter to space. Awwww lol

Part of me wants to give them a break about what they did as they exited the capsule. I am sure it was amazing, and their adrenaline had to be crazy high, but it just looks funny. And pretending it was anything other than a publicity stunt for "space tourism" is just dumb.

To be fair, Elon doesn't pay taxes and I doubt he's been on many dates.

On of our engineers who is very high functioning but on the spectrum is REALLY spun up about this today. Our director told him to take the rest of the day off and spend it with is wife.

I feel the same way. I'd prefer to have a sane trading partner on our Southern border and reduce trade with a Chinese regime known for human rights abuse and all sorts of other fuckery. But now we have a dipshit lunatic running the show in the USA and they are ramping up their own human rights abuses and sabre rattling about forcefully taking over sovereign nations. So China it is I guess. At least they just like money, making them reliable, sort of, I guess.

No shit...I have numerous friends with kids on the spectrum. All of which do well for themselves. To top it off, some of the nicest people I've ever met have been on the spectrum.

The key difference is on the spectrum as opposed to in the Spectrum...In Philadelphia. I met some nasty people there one night.

I know people are dunking on Katy Perry and the other astronerds, but she'll always get a pass from me.

About 10 years ago some friends of mine had a daughter who developed a very rare form of cancer at age 2 and fought it until she died at age 8. It was so uncommon that the St. Jude Hospital in Memphis was one of the only places in the world working on this form of the disease. Hence the little girl spent loads of time there. Not only did Perry contribute significantly to the research there but she would show up and just hang out with her and the other kids and their families. No cameras or press.

So she gets a thumbs up from me.

Now Bezos? He can go fuck himself.

I have a friend with two on the spectrum, they have been quiet the last couple days because I am sure they are furious. Super nice kids, super creative kids. One is 18 and does work and does date contrary to what RKJ jr says.

Also my friends did have genetic testing done to help pinpoint things, so contrary to what RFK jr thinks, at least some major hospitals that specialize in that field do think there is a genetic element.
