A list of 50+ actresses named Kate that gets me going is pretty short and sweet.

Beckinsale.

If you've never read any of @Comeds erotic fiction, "A Night in Hollywood" is his tale of visiting Los Angeles (as he says "Fiction...Or is it?") and an evening where he makes love to both Kate Beckinsale and Charlize Theron concomitantly. It is spectacular and only towards the end do you realize it's paralleled The Odyssey the entire time. The escape of Calypso is beautifully masked. The Cyclops... a little less so if I'm being honest ("one glorious hole... atop the head, so to speak..." we get it). Maybe he would share an excerpt.

Yeah, but you conveniently left out the part that Charlize Theron was in her Aileen Wournos' character

The plot is mostly correct, mostly, but have the decency to get the title right. It's "A Night On Holly Wood". Don't spoil the Clea Duvall cameo please.

The cruelty of this administration is just getting started

Assuming this person is actually a fugitive and fentanyl trafficker, she is one of how many people deported?

You gather up a quarter million people of ANY demographic, you're gonna find trash when you do. That's not the core issue. It's the innocent people you are destroying along the way. Teachers, doctors, students, a guy with an Autism awareness tattoo.

And that's to say nothing of assigning (and celebrating) guilt without due process from the White House.

It is not even arresting her if its true (almost looks AI) but its the cartoon. I would actually have no problems with media attention to people with her rap sheet (again if true) but there is a professional way to do it. Not like that and then I swing back to a cartoon. What was once the most powerful and respected nation in the world has turned heel and resorted to mocking immigrants with cartoons from their official communication channel. I get with them that the Cruelty is the point but the more they push the more the escalation meter keeps pushing to that red line and its going to blow and the violence is going to be extreme. I hope I am wrong and there is some semblance of sanity that fixes that government but the GOP is a group of absolute cowards.

This is Noem bragging about putting people into inhumane conditions. I also don't think she's really there (green screen).

The fall of the USA is in full swing. This is just sad.

Trump presidency latest: Vance’s Greenland visit

Story Time: I once worked for a company that had layoffs initiated by the Board of Directors (BOD). (I previously posted about them mass-firing everyone without much thought and then getting stuck in the boardroom.) A couple of weeks after the layoffs, our company was overwhelmed with programming and design needs, given the small staff we had left.

The BOD invited a company we had a marketing contract with to bid on contract services. I was put in charge of auditing their program disciplines and resources to determine whether they could handle the projects. When I met with their representatives, they were extremely agitated—they had expected to sign a contract, not undergo an evaluation. I explained that I had been instructed by the BOD to assess and report back, nothing more.

That night, the owner of the marketing company sent two thugs to threaten me into signing the contract. I genuinely feared for my safety, as I knew one of them was connected to a gang. Since I had no authority to sign the contract, I told them I would recommend their company to the BOD—just so I could get out of that situation unharmed. Once they seemed to believe me, they asked for a tour of our company building. As we walked through, they openly discussed where they would move in and who would take over various spaces.

I expect Vance to be that same kind of bully/thug going into Greenland with the exact same expectations.

Luckily, my story ended better. As soon as they were out the door, I locked the building down and sent an email to the BOD and company lawyers detailing exactly what had happened. I also submitted my immediate resignation. Within 45 minutes, I got a call from the company’s top lawyer and the president of the board. They refused my resignation, gave me paid leave (with some meetings to discuss everything), gave me a raise, and showed me the termination letter for the $1M marketing contract, effective immediately. They also issued an order preventing those people from ever contacting me again (though they did try once).

And that’s also how I met my wife—I was basically in charge of getting her fired from that marketing company. So I took her to Mexico, and we’ve been together for 25 years. :)

A good watch. Makes a very compelling argument that Cheeto will stagnate (at best IMO) the US economy.
