My cousin has a kid who is 4 years old and going through Cancer treatments for the last 2 1/2 years. The kid has responded well, and rang the bell last February. But still has a long way to go and needs a lot of support to catch up socially.

My cousin just lost her job at the Department of Agriculture that she has had for 9 years, and the health insurance that goes with it due to DOGE cuts.

And she is just one of 70,000 such stories. I personally know at least 15 other people in a similar situation. All so a ketamine addict who has more money than anyone else on earth can be richer. There is not a fate that can befall him that will be cruel and painful enough.

^

I chose the sad emoji for the first two paragraphs. That last paragraph needs the angry or bullseye emoji.

She was "probationary" because her boss decided just before Christmas to reward her for managing to do her job well during all the distraction and promoted her up a pay band. When that happens to for a federal employee, you are marked "probationary" for the first six months in the new role/payband.

Probationary doesn't just mean new hires.

Conor McGregor meets with Trump – then announces he wants to be Ireland’s next president

Guy brutally r*pes a women so bad they had to surgically remove a tampon from her. He has numerous assaults on people (including seniors) and Trump brings him to the Whitehouse. Trump surrounds himself with guys like him and Andrew Tate who openly asked a then underage Greta Thunberg to have sex in an internet post so he could make her a REAL woman.

Now Conor is using this to promote MAKE IRELAND GREAT AGAIN... I hate these days beyond belief .

The answer is "Because the first rule of being in a cult is the leader is never wrong".

In today's social media world where all the keyboard warriors are looking for any kind of "gotcha", people just are loathe of admitting any kind of mistake. The thing is it displays strength when you can say "you know, I was wrong and I won't make that mistake again" instead of doubling down.

They have been doubling down on stupid for so long there is no turning back.

I have stopped all communication with one of my closest childhood friends, as there was just no logic to be found.
My wife is going through the same thing with one of her closest friends (who lives in Israel) over her views on Palestinine.

I'm sure most people have similar stories.

these two are fucking related, but look at those expressions. That's not sadness that's the eyes of Cult Members

1742582666486.png

When someone is under the influence of a cult, their eyes might exhibit certain characteristics that reflect their mental and emotional state. Here are some possible descriptions:

  1. Glazed or Distant – Their eyes may seem unfocused, as if they are looking past you rather than at you. This could indicate dissociation or a loss of independent thought.
  2. Fixed or Intense Stare – They might maintain unblinking eye contact, almost too intense, as if rehearsing programmed responses rather than engaging in genuine conversation.
  3. Empty or Vacant – Their eyes may lack the usual sparkle of personality or depth, as if they are emotionally drained or disconnected from their true self.
  4. Euphoric Glow – In some cases, their eyes may appear overly bright, almost unnaturally joyful, as if they are in a state of blissful detachment from reality.
  5. Fearful or Hesitant – Their gaze may shift nervously, avoiding direct eye contact, especially when questioned about their beliefs, suggesting internal conflict or fear of repercussions.
  6. Unwavering Devotion – Their eyes may light up when discussing the cult leader or doctrine, showing a deep, unquestioning belief in the ideology.
  7. Rapid Blinking or Darting Movements – This could indicate anxiety or cognitive dissonance when confronted with information that challenges their beliefs.

Just a heads-up and I am no financial expert/stock market guy by any means, but I just got off the phone and tweaked some things with my advisor as he sees a lot of turmoil ahead in the market and just wants to put a lot of my holdings into more secure (i.e. less risky) ventures.

I saw a bit of the video of them talking before I shut it down. They seemed like idiots. I noted an accent and then they were talking through an interpreter in "low German"... theyre part of some Mennonite commune apparently. I have no idea if they were born in the USA ... they seemed from another planet :noidea:

On the facebook post from my cousin about her plight, her father in law posted a comment featuring his new profile picture wearing a Trump Hat.

I never liked that guy.

I hope she cuts him out of her kid's life.
