Marysville OH has become a bedroom community for Columbus, but even so I would say that more than half the residents of Marysville are tied to the Honda Plant in some way. 2 of the kids on my hockey team have a parent who works there. I know at least 10 others at work here and last job who have a spouse who works there.

And that's to say nothing of the businesses that rely on the people who work there. Marysville is going to hurt big time if they shut down for any period of time. And the closest city being a government and education hub is going to mean there are no other jobs to jump to.

Oh a friend who voted for Trump this last election who never would have even this time last year. He was one of those folks convinced that he would save the economy.

Anyway, he posted on his facebook feed about the game and how disrespectful it was for Canadians to boo our anthem, etc... And that he was never more excited and thrilled for the US in hockey and a true David vs Goliath moment.

Let me add this guy is old enough and aware of what happened in 1980. And obviously doesn't understand the NHL knowing the actual players and how close a matchup this really is. Also Canada has shit goaltending.
