This article is over a year old, but BYD seems to be making significant inroads in Germany.

Funny I do follow their channels but interestingly enough this just popped up in my youtube feed.

The best part is right here and a very interesting take on the Model S used market.
through 9:10.

The Germans and their legendary sense of humor...

You are certainly old enough to have heard (rebranded for today) this one in the 80s @dash . Here goes:

What's the difference between a Cybertruck and a porcupine?

In a Cybertruck the pricks are on the inside!!

Anyone that owns a model S, X or 3 in Germany are screwed. There is no resale value for them, then anyone that purchased a newer model it is all on you.
There is a growing secondary market for the drivetrains. Companies are taking them out and putting them in old classics to keep them on the road.

Granted, it's only about 6-8 grand for the parts, but it's better than nothing. And older Teslas basically disintegrate anyway.

VW probably should have started this project a few years ago. I think they're gonna miss the mark.

VW with Rivian are behind the Scout EV's. Really looking forward to seeing what comes of those and the pricing, as we all know the pricing starts reasonable then reality happens.

As for taking the drivetrain I seen a lot around that but wonder what type of range would be there since none of the old body designs were setup for EV's. Granted it will be light years better than anything the original drive train had.

Well we knew they would do it. As I tell everyone to essentially spam Google map support stating it is the wrong information.

I look forward to the next US president via executive order renaming it back to the 'Gulf of Mexico'.

US production of aluminum has dropped pretty significantly in recent years - I wonder if Trump knows this.
