Downtown Nashville near broadway is essentially vegas without the gambling/casinos. If you have kids no need to walk around there at night, nothing but bars/drunks and a LOT of country music.

My daughter along with a few friends recently visited Nashville and I think Tennessee is a red state. Nashville is a pretty cool place though and it looks like a pretty fun place to go to watch a Preds hockey game.

Even if the state is overall red, most cities are quite blue and have a lot to do and see. Some more than others, obviously. Nashville is a blast.

Austin is another great example. A weird, wonderful blue oasis in the reddest of red states

I said most. And even within some shitty states there are often nice places. I've heard that Nashville is super fun. But overall the shithole factor seems to be higher in MAGAland.

In Whitefish Montana on a ski trip and a buddy of mine decided to pretend he was French and when the waitress came over to get his breakfast order, he said with his best French accent the following:

"Two egg side by each facing da sun, bacon parallel, one pair toast"
