Obama endorsed Trudeau. If you were fine with that I don’t really care about anything “foreign interference” related.

Also that whole Chinese interference thing we all just kinda let slide lol

There is a serious threat regarding Canadian sovereignty currently and all Danielle Smith is concerned about making sure Alberta's oil and gas continues to flow. How many years/decades has Alberta wasted not diversifying their economy?

Also, last I looked Trudeau is no longer in the picture. Not sure why he's even being brought up to be honest. If anything, it's just proof that PP and the Cons have no real plan, it's just empty slogans and distractions to keep people angry and distracted. It may have worked in America in the November election, hopefully it doesn't work for the Canadian election next month.

I’m simply pointing out that liberals had no problem with “election interference” when it was their side benefiting. If it didn’t matter then I’m not going to care about it now.

Also not seeing how a tariff pause would hurt anybody here. I don’t really care how it happens.

Here’s an article about what Smith is being accused of.

So she said:

1) the threat of tariffs have boosted the Liberals. Ok, that’s pretty undeniable.

2) “Let’s just put things on pause so we can get through an election. Let’s have the best person at the table make the argument for how they would deal with it - and I think that’s Pierre Poilievre.” Is this the interference?

3) “She went on to agree with the host, saying that if Poilievre was Canada's prime minister, the two countries could partner on "a number of things" and that she believes they'd have a "great relationship" while Poilievre and Trump served.

"There's probably still always going to be areas that are skirmishes, or disputes, about particular industries when it comes to the border. But I would say, on balance, the perspective that Pierre would bring, would be very much in sync with the new direction in America," she said.“

This reads more as something the Conservatives would probably rather her not say at the moment - PP is more like DJT than the other guy - but again where’s the “hold the tariffs to help my guy” part?

If there’s another part the CBC left out of that I’m open to reversing but this is flimsy and at best detrimental to the Conservatives considering how much work they have to do already to try not to look like MAGA north.

Nanos tends to skew Liberal but this reads like the Libs have clawed back in Toronto and Montreal but every suburban riding is still either Conservative or separatist.

If the last election is anything to go by (they showed Cons at 31.2%, they hit 33.7 in the end) that still has PP scrapping for a majority.

Weirdly it’s the Conservatives who need to get out the youth vote lol

Fireable offense in any industry

Finally had time to read it all. It was so much worse than I initially thought.

It's starting to look like hiring an alcoholic news reader to lead the Pentagon might not have been so wise.
