Which ultimately is the best way to protest (instead of setting fires to Tesla cars). Hit them in the wallet, vacation in Canada, buy Canadian and prop up the Canadian economy, plenty of great places in Canada to visit.

If I remember correctly all students after elementary/primary school have to travel through Canada to get to Middle/Senior high school.
That will be interesting to see when Canada denies them access to travel through the country or detains them at the border.

It's hard to condone something that could end up injuring or killing innocent people, first responders, etc..

However, this kind of thing is pretty much inevitable. And moving forward it may even be necessary. Trump/Musk are showing no regard for the rule of law. Hard to tell those affected by their bullshit to be peaceful when those two idiots show no respect for the laws of the land.

Or say you have a job you worked hard to get and suddenly one of the world's biggest corporate welfare baby indiscriminately cuts your job to stop government waste. Then they ask President Dumbass about people losing their jobs and he claims most of them weren't actually working anyway.

So I understand the frustration and maybe thinking picketing somewhere isn't enough. Hell, they are talking about arresting protesters too, so might as well get your money's worth.

I don't think this will go anywhere, whatever you might think of the pardon process, no president to my knowledge has ever tried to undo a prior president's pardons. This is just Trump looking for retribution with his targets being Dr. Fauci, Liz Cheney, and Bennie Thompson.

I mean, I'm too lazy to look into it, but I think this will ultimately go to the Supreme Court if it were to get that far and while they will make sure to bail Trump out of any jam he finds himself in, I don't think they would make these pardons null and void and put people like Dr. Fauci in harm's way.

/It's ridiculous in my opinion that this is even a topic for discussion, but hey we are at the whims of a madman.

I think the Trump guys would do whatever Trump told them to do. I think Trump would go so far as to give details of where his enemies live and remove security detail, I think his Judges don't actually care about anyone outside their circle.

For as long as I could remember the point of wire services like AP was to simply transmit news as it is without comment or color.

For all the hullabaloo about Trump kicking them out of the Oval it does feel like there’s a story like this about the AP on a weekly basis these days. If they’re not going to be a wire service and not going to be good at a broader attempt at journalism then I’m not sure they should exist.

I had not noticed how many Cybertrucks were in my neighbourhood until Elon took the Presidents job. Maybe they were always there or maybe they got them after but there are 5 in a 6 block radius of my house. I can not for the life of me tell if they are new or not because I do not think they have ever updated the look since first design
