Yeah this is fucking awesome. The first two episodes are available for free. Its like a combination of nostalgia and the crushing reality of life where both you and the dickhead you hated in high school are sympathetic characters.

I'm gonna pay for fucking YouTube to see where this goes. Show is great

I liked it. A lot of throwback jokes to the original movie but with a twist. It was worth $10 for 1 month of youtube red subscription to watch it.

Looking through the other youtube red original series though...nothing else seems compelling enough to keep the monthly subscription going.

Very well done. The first episode is telling Johnny’s story, basically from the POV of the video essay that likely launched this whole project.

The second episode focused on Daniel and how he is still this meek kid who felt bullied, but overcame it and became successful, but also fell into the trappings of trying to look more successful then you truly feel (shallow, trophy wife, good kid who is a bit of a slave to peer pressure, etc) (holy run-on sentences, Batman...)

I am tempted to take the one-month free trial to finish the series, but I know I will end up forgetting to turn it off. Do you at least get to skip ads on normal YouTube content if you are a red subscriber?

Yes, you do skip the ads(which I LOVE so far), plus you also get a free membership to Google Play Music, so it's kind of a twofer deal...

A few more things I've noticed about YouTube Red... when I watch vids on my phone, many times the video is now larger and sometimes even clearer... A video can keep playing even when you put your phone into rest mode(dont have to leave it open draining the battery with the video if you're just listening to a concert or album).... It auto downloaded an app called YouTube music for free, but I haven't tried it yet... You get notifications on new vids from people you sub to faster...

That's a bit more off the top of my head right now

I was able to binge the first season... Very good... kind of surprised me... thought it would be entirely nostalgic and campy... Even the flashbacks were done pretty well...

I like how the show does not take sides between Johnny and Danny... and gives a new light into what being a "bully" is...

If you download Terrarium on the fire stick, all of that stuff on Netflix/Prime/Hulu/YouTube Red are free. Its not illegal either as long as you aren't downloading movies/shows. A VPN is helpful tho to keep your ISP from getting throttled.

It is illegal to get paid for content free. I use it but I also knew the legality before downloading. Whether you download or not has zero to do with the legality.

I could have sworn this was going to be on Netflix. Did I dream that or what? I watched the first 2 free episodes. It was pretty good. I caught myself liking Johnny and kinda disliking Daniel. Daniel hasn't exactly done anything wrong. What the hell?

I always like alternate POV stories (not that there a lot out there). Hopefully this will lead to more of this kind of story telling.

I guess this is a new YouTube Red series coming out. Johnny better "PUT HIM IN A BODYBAG!!!" this time around like he was told!

Saw the trailer for this the other day and thought it looked pretty good. I've seen the original 3 movies and was hoping they'd do a spinoff series. Might just check this out whenever I have free time.
