Makes sense... Wonder if he can breath any life into Kevin Kolb.

it kind of suprises me that he's not taking a yr off given the issues in his personal life and the amount of time he coached in Philadelphia. he must really love the profession..

there are a lot of things to like about Az.. solid defense, HOF-caliber WR, the QB he drafted in the 2nd rd who's already familiar with the Reid verson of the WCO..

the big negative is the strength of their division- Seattle and SF look poised to be contenders for yrs. Stl improved, they have a good coach and slo multiple 1st rd picks in 2013 and 2014.

I think it's a good move by AZ though.

Someone should hire Wisenhunt too. that guy's a good coach imo. before their QB injuries they were 4-1 with wins against Seattle and NE.

on a sidenote, Reid's dismissal from Philadelphia makes Marvin Lewis the longest tenured coach in the NFL not named Bill Belichick

2 STRAIGHT playoff appearances. THREE out of FOUR years.

He's earned it.

What does the sarcasm smiley look like?

Are you suggesting the Bengals fire him now?

I don't like the guy, but his 'recent' performance does not warrant firing - I can't think of any owner that would fire him.

They should have axed him after 2010 season. That was the most logical time.

No, just poking fun at the fact that he's lasted this long.

No team in the league would fire him now because unless you're in Cincinnati it's a results league for a coach, but there's also no denying that if Marvin were fired today, the team would be better off tomorrow.
