Hopefully means he is getting close. I was just thinking this week where he is in terms of recovery so this is good news. His return will also mean one of Andreoff or Shore is sent down to Ontario. Keep in mind this is a "Conditioning Assignment" for Clifford, he was not demoted, so no Waivers would apply to him.
I am a bit concerned however, he has had several concussions in his 5-6 year career. Seems every year he misses some significant time with a concussion, the vague "UBI" as the NHL calls it these days. He plays very hard and sticks up for his teammates, hope he isn't headed down Deadmarsh Drive. He will never be that 25+G guy but a solid team player and plays his role well.
