Unlike some teams which swing madly at balls up and out of the zone. Not naming names.

Wondering out loud if teams scouting us are making note of this fact. Or is it this guy just doesn't throw hard enough it truly does make it difficult to not swing at those high, fat-looking ones?

It appears they are just being aggressive vs Smyly and that high pitch is tough to lay off, but they seem to be overly aggressive on balls clearly out of the zone

Honestly, this does appear to be the case. His ball "looks" so fat, that hey, I'm getting a cut at this bad boy, is the attitude and so far, the results are OK.

Although, we certainly got the tying 3rd run the hard way.

I do too......his biggest problem is getting the ball over the plate. Seems to me.

That was a borderline strike.....but one tough-ass pitch to get a swing at too!
