Glad it did not happen as from what I was reading it was really weighing him down to think he could miss more time. I know we get on him for that but he really wants to be able to play. And he seems to have had some very timely hits or in the case of the SAC fly last night timely ABs. I think it is definitely in our best interest if he is able to stay healthy.

Total agreement here sir.......The problem with Josh from now on will be how often will he go down, and how long he'll be down when he does?

When he plays, generally speaking, every opposing team knows he can, single-handedly, put them in the L column for the evening. And that's a nice card for us to be able to play.

My hopes for him/us in 2016 is, he's our 4th OF/part-time DH. To try and make him an everyday player at this point in his life is putting too much faith in that 55 year old body of his IMO. But like we've said before, when he's upright and semi-healthy, he can be a difference maker.

If he's healthy and can continue to produce he'll be in the lineup at a COF spot. He won't be playing much DH as long as we still have Mitch. Question is, can we dump Choo this winter and get Rua in the outfield? There's also the Gallo part of the equation. When Josh goes down, Gallo could slot right in.

I didn't express my thoughts too well on Josh. B/c I agree "if" he's healthy he'll be in the lineup and mostly as a COF. But I don't think we can, nor should, count on him being "healthy" for 130 or so games.

What happens with Choo if he continues to hit well for the rest of the season? I'm in favor of eating some contract, but I sure believe we're gonna have to eat a lot, regardless of what he does for the rest of 2015.

I read/heard a few days ago the plan was to turn Rua into a super-utility player. You remember this?

If he's in the lineup consistently that's great. Otherwise, not so much.

I read where Fraley said he likes Rua as a super sub, but I am not sure I have heard anyone in the organization say that yet.

I hope Choo does great the rest of the season as that will increase his trade value.

As long as Choo is batting 7-9th I would be ok with that. Im tired of seeing him not performing in the 2 hole

thanks......I could not remember where I read/heard it. Maybe it shouldn't go in stone just yet due to it coming from Fraley. ha ha ha But in all candor, I could see this kid being that type of player; pretty good at a lot of things and not great at any of em.

Let me ask ya, if this is indeed the plan, and he works on this from now until the end of the season/winter ball, wouldn't he be much more attractive than Rosales in 2016? And I'm not a Rosales hater by any means.

I have no idea how the team won last night. They definitely got out played, is it too much to ask for them to get lucky two nights in a row? Winning a series against TB would be huge.

Don't tell Delino Josh or Elvis it was luck or they may come looking for your butt.

I got so pissed off early (personal problem) that I sought out entertainment elsewhere. So I missed the last 6 innings and frankly, was happy with my decision making.

Especially since we won. ha ha

Really, the first inning, offensively, just sent me off on a tangent and I couldn't seem to shake it. Or I decided the better part of valor was to move or sacrifice some furniture. I chose the former.

Now tonight, I'm going to do my best not to act that way.

Hey man.....how you feeling?

Josh, for a guy I had on the DL before game time, certainly had a heck-of-a-game, and in fairness, Elvis has been lights out since the AS break.

Is EA teasing us or is he FINALLY going to become the long term SS we're paying him to be?

Ended giving up 12 hits and 10 runs in two and a third innings.

Too bad he doesnt shit the bed like that when facing us from time to time. Maybe next time we face him, he can have a total abortion of a start

Tonight would be a huge win because Cueto is on the mound for KC against the Halos.

Yes hope Colby can keep it in the park tonight. Would love to creep up to that WC2 spot. Despite historical numbers of what it takes to make playoffs, we are not far behind at all. Let's get a hot streak
