I see the Royals dynamic duo in Davis and Holland failed miserably last night.

.425 OBS and .325 avg for Choo since the AS break. Pretty darn good.

I still wouldn't have him in the # 2 hole, but maybe this gives a little insight to what Banister's thought process.

And from what I was reading/hearing this morning, there seems to be somewhat of a consensus Nick Martinez has pitched his last inning for 2015. Seems that many feel Gonzalez is in his spot for the rest of the year, even when Holland arrives.

Been meaning to ask, anyone hear anything further on Harrison's status?

I don't think anything will change on his story until he has been on his medication long enough to allow him to gain some weight and strength back. I would think that he will have a good season next year after he gets his strength back.

On the other hand, I hear that Nick Williams and Jake Thompson are doing great since the trade.

He should see that having Choo in the two hole is not working. And Odor was pretty good in the two hole. If it's not broke don't try to fix it.

That's the problem with stats - they don't tell the whole story. Choo has stats but everyone on here seems to be adamantly against him hitting in the 2 slot.

NickMart just never seemed to make the next step this season - meaning, when hitters adjusted to him, he never adjusted himself. Just throws the same shit over and over.

Agree Eph but we must remember he was brought in under desperate conditions so he did what he could do and we should not expect much more. He never once shorted us on effort.

I am for Odor stats or no stats just because having DeShields and Odor back to back puts pressure on the other team because of their speed.

That 1 inning must have been quite impressive. HA! Just kidding.
That was what I thought too. Then I read that college pitchers picked that high usually skip short season ball altogether.

I agree and not afraid to claim they are the best overall 1 and 2 punch out there.

Hamilton is supposed to be back in the lineup tonight.

Leonys Martin may have a broken hamate bone in his right hand. He is going to see a hand specialist.

Most of Choo's numbers were put up hitting in the bottom 3rd of the order, perhaps Banister is verifying one last time... I dunno, Odor and Choo need to be switched back soon through

#2 .722 (145)
#5 .420 (34)
