Scott Lucas had a good note about Mazara today. He said, "Mazara, born April 1995, is the youngest hitter on the Riders. If Texas demoted him to High Desert, he'd be the youngest there, too. If Texas shipped him down to Hickory, he'd be fourth youngest."

Mazara 's line is 291/.363/.454

Over the first 19 full seasons of a three-division AL setup, only six of the 57 division winners won fewer than 90 games.

To get to 89 wins, the Rangers must win two of every three games the rest of the way and go 33-16. To get to 86, they must play at a .612 clip (30-19). It can be done.

It certainly can, but they'll have to go on another run like they did in May and the first week of June.
