I’m just tired of getting a couple of decent players and we don’t do anything around them so we might as well trade Lynn and Gallo. letting them go Somewhere where they can know what it’s like to play for a good team with owners willing to do things. Let’s start over again for the umpteen time

this rebuild failed because Elvis fell off a cliff, Odor never developed, condor never developed, all of our pitching prospects seemingly got arm injuries, and Kip Fagg wasted tons of draft picks on guys who never made it to the major leagues.

The Padres just completed a 7 player trade with Seattle with the center piece for SD being Austin Nola.

7-player deal, going to be finalized tonight, per source: Padres get: C Austin Nola, RHP Dan Altavilla, RHP Austin Adams Mariners get: IF Ty France, OF Taylor Trammell, RHP Andres Muñoz, C Luis Torrens And no, the Padres aren't done trying to maneuver.
