CJ needs to get targeted that many times. The guy is so good he has a chance to make a play every time the ball is thrown to him! Plus it makes defenses use 2-3 guys religously on him. That had a lot to do with Pettigrew's day and the way Reggie took off in the second half.

Damn if you do and damned if you don't when you face CJ.

My response is, "Well, Duh!"

Nobody can cover CJ alone. I'd take him in a big game with a 27-year-old Deion Sanders covering him right now. Tillman is a good DB but even doubling Megatron is a mismatch.

Those numbers look good until you realize he was targeted 17 times and one of those was picked.

6-17 for 83 Yards with 2 TDs and 1 Int. is a QB Rating of 66.5.

The Bears did their job against Calvin. You guys won because your D-Line kicked our O-Line's ass all day. And that beatdown was exasperated by the fact that Cutler was terrified of getting hit because he was in pain and made a ton of errant throws.

And because CJ scored two tds. As much as you dont want to admit it, they couldnt stop CJ when it counted. two tds is two tds is two tds....
