yep. it is amazing the amount of teams that struggle to hit the 60 pt mark on a regular basis

This conference has just some bad, bad basketball. I think it says it all when Tulsa is undefeated in the American and lost to a D2 school earlier this year. The conference has a grand total of 3 Top 50 RPI wins in the non conf. Temple beat Kansas, Cincy beat SDSU and Uconn beat Dayton, that's it. This is just a terrible conference this year.

UC's defense has done this for years. When you consider that they had 7 new players this year, and start 2 sophamores and a freshman...what they are doing on defense is pretty solid no matter who you play. SMU was averaging 70pts a game in conference play.

UC handled SDSU, and the VCU game was a throw-away since the players just learned an hour before tip that Cronin wasn't going to coach due to health issues, and no doubt threw them for a real loop prior to the game.

They could be 1-done in the tourney, or they could win a few games. Their defense is certainly good enough, and they are led by guards for their scoring, which everyone says is the magic key for NCAA runs. Considering how young this team is, I'm actually very impressed by what they've been able to accomplish this year.

I'm aware UC beat them. However, they aren't in the top 50. But that would be the leagues 4th best OOC win.

5-2 against top 50 RPI...

Hate on the conference, but they've played well. Period.
