Noticed how the ref shook his head while the cinci player was falling OOB and trying to call a timeout. Since you can't call a timeout anyways, and the ref shook his head like I couldn't grant you one, that means it never happened which means a technical wouldn't have been assessed. Right?

It's a legitimate question, the refs got it right, they won't accept a timeout when someone falls out of bounds so therefore no technical.

That's not the rule though. The rule doesn't allow airborne players to call timeouts. The kid had both feet in bounds

IMO, after watching both Cincinnati/Louisville games, it's fair to say the teams are very close. That was a hell of a shot that went in to end the game. Would not surprise me to see both teams get a NR2 seed and that's really all a team needs to go deep in the NCAA tournament.
