(Author's note: In case you are unfamiliar with some of my abbreviations used below, the "PS" number assigned for each player stands for where I ranked that particular player at his position coming out of high school.)

1. USC Trojans
Marqise Lee was the Biletnikoff winner last year, and he returns after piling up 1,721 yards (14.6 yards per catch) and 14 touchdowns. The Trojans do lose Robert Woods, who was a second-round NFL draft choice, but Nelson Agholor (PS No. 3) will be a top-notch No. 2 receiver. He averaged 17.9 YPC last year. Xavier Grimble and Randall Telfer form one of the best tight end duos in the country, and there are several highly touted backups in this unit.

2 Florida State Seminoles
The Seminoles' receiving corps has size and speed, is loaded with talent, and has a lot of players who can make spectacular grabs. Those players are led by Rashad Greene (leading receiver each of past two years), and they have more than 5,200 career receiving yards. Although there are not a lot of household names in this group, the Noles could have some by the end of the year, including Kelvin Benjamin, who is 6-foot-5, 242 pounds.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide
Amari Cooper exploded on the scene as a true freshman with 1,000 yards (16.9 YPC) and 11 touchdowns starting just the last nine games. He took over when DeAndrew White (PS No. 17) was sidelined for the year with an injury after five starts. This year, the top four receivers return, and they add redshirt freshman Chris Black (PS No. 13), PS No. 3 and PS No. 9 true freshman WRs, and a PS No. 1 TE in O.J. Howard.

4. Oklahoma State Cowboys
The Cowboys return six of their top seven receivers from last year, including first-team All-Big 12 WR Josh Stewart, who had 1,210 yards (12.0 YPC). Tracy Moore might have been the top receiver last year, but he was lost for the year after three starts. He had 259 yards (12.9 YPC) at the time. Six-3, 235-pound Blake Jackson (PS No. 6 juco) worked hard in the offseason and could be a breakout player. The group has 4,862 career receiving yards, and there are some very talented young players in the mix.

5. Georgia Bulldogs
Last year, the Bulldogs lost their leading receiver not once but twice, and they were still highly productive. They do lose two of their top three WRs heading into this season, but return Malcolm Mitchell (PS No. 18), who split time at defensive back and wide receiver last season, and Michael Bennett, who was the leading receiver before being injured. Arthur Lynch (PS No. 4) is one of the top tight ends in the country, and he has a PS No. 3 as a backup. Georgia also adds a PS No. 8 juco, a PS No. 14 WR and a PS No. 20 TE. There's plenty of talent to go around in this unit, plus a good QB to distribute the ball in Aaron Murray.

6. Washington Huskies
Star TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (PS No. 1) was suspended in the spring, but he should be back by fall camp. He is my favorite to win the Mackey Award this year as the nation's top TE. WR Kasen Williams (PS No. 8) is 6-2 and led the Huskies with 878 yards (11.4 YPC) last year. Jaydon Mickens (PS No. 35) had 190 yards (9.5 YPC) as a true freshman, and U-Dub adds PS No. 13 and PS No. 18 true freshman WRs this year.

7. Clemson Tigers
Sammy Watkins (PS No. 3) would have been the first wide receiver taken in the 2012 NFL draft had he been eligible after his stellar true freshman campaign. He didn't perform up to that same level last year, but I look for him to return to his 2011 form and be one of the top wide receivers in the country this season. The Tigers lose a first-round draft choice in DeAndre Hopkins but return 6-5 Martavis Bryant (PS No. 19), who is a deep threat who averaged 30.5 YPC. Six of their top eight were highly rated recruits.

8. Fresno State Bulldogs
Four of the top five wide receivers/tight ends are back from a unit that helped the Bulldogs average 326 yards per game passing last year. It includes their star Davante Adams (first team All-Mountain West), who had 1,312 yards receiving (12.9 YPC) as a redshirt freshman. Isaiah Burse had 851 receiving yards (14.9) to go along with 733 return yards. Finally, 6-6, 257-pound TE Marcel Jensen had 339 yards (17.0) last year and is one of the top players at that position in the Mountain West.

9. Louisville Cardinals
2011's top receiver Michaelee Harris (PS No. 38) missed last year with injury and returns as a backup this year. Six-3, 204-pound DeVante Parker earned first-team Big East honors despite starting in only three games. He finished with 744 yards (18.6). Damian Copeland was finally healthy and was No. 2 with 628 yards (12.6). Those three all return, and the Cardinals add Florida transfers TE Gerald Christian (PS No. 2) and WR Robert Clark. They also add a PS No. 6 true freshman WR in James Quick.

10. Texas Longhorns
Mike Davis (PS No. 10) was the team's offensive MVP last year with 939 yards (16.5 YPC). Jaxon Shipley was the No. 2 receiver with 737 yards (12.5 YPC). They are back for their third year together, and Texas also has two very highly touted tight ends, as well as eight other former top recruits adding depth.

11. Oklahoma Sooners
The Sooners lose their top two WRs, but they still have a quality unit. Jalen Saunders is a Fresno State transfer who started the last eight games and had 829 yards (13.4). Trey Metoyer (PS No. 4) was a spring star last year but had only 148 yards (8.7). He is expected to have a much bigger impact in his second year. Sterling Shepard (PS No. 19) had a great spring, and TE Taylor McNamara (PS No. 5) started game No. 2 as a true freshman but was out for the year.

12. BYU Cougars
6-4 Cody Hoffman led with 943 yards (15.5 YPC) in 2011, and 6-3 Ross Apo (PS No. 30, originally a Texas commit) was No. 2 with 453 yards (13.3). It's unusual for BYU to have receivers with their size and speed combination, and they combined for 1,559 receiving yards (11.9) last year. Six-5, 250-pound TE Kaneakua Friel added 308 yards (10.3) and is backed up by PS No. 11 Richard Wilson.

13. Vanderbilt Commodores
Jordan Matthews is Mel Kiper's No. 1 senior wide receiver for the 2014 draft, and he had 1,323 receiving yards (14.1) last season. Six-4 Chris Boyd also has NFL talent and added 774 yards (15.5). They might be the best WR combo in the SEC.

14. Marshall Thundering Herd
The Thundering Herd averaged 365 yards per game passing in 2012. Although they lose two of their top three wide receivers, the top guy is back: Tommy Shuler, who had 1,138 yards (10.3 YPC) a year ago, along with top TE Gator Hoskins. Hoskins had 10 touchdowns last year, which was a Marshall record for tight ends. The Herd also add in transfers from Penn State, Miami (Fla.) and West Virginia, three of whom were top recruits.

15. Maryland Terrapins
Stefon Diggs lived up to his billing as a top incoming freshman (PS No. 2), leading the Terps with 848 receiving yards (15.7 YPC) and 934 return yards. This year, he made my preseason All-American team. Deon Long is a PS No. 17 juco and, before his juco time, was second-team All-Mountain West at New Mexico under Mike Locksley, now the Terps' offensive coordinator, with 809 yards (17.2). Last year, he led all juco receivers with 1,625 yards and 25 touchdowns.

And Maryland is returning about 1,000 yards of receiving. Their ranking is mostly based on potential of incomers. That's stupid

Stigma of losing every almost single big game. Writers know of Bell and maybe Turner but no one else.

I would think you would have to be a pretty bad writer to not know who Enunwa is as well as the other two you mentioned.....:noidea:
