So 4 games have been leaked for the Xmas day schedule:

Miami vs. New Orleans
Chicago vs. OKC
Cleveland vs. Golden State
LA Clippers vs. LA Lakers

Thoughts on these games? I would have personally preferred to see Warriors against the Clippers, but understand why they have them up against Cleveland. LAC vs GSW was becoming a tradition.

Who get's the last game?

The Spurs SHOULD be facing the Clippers, like I've said multiple times. But I highly doubt they even get a Christmas Day game even if they do deserve it.

Lakers again? :L
Why not Clippers/Spurs rematch from that great rd 1 series?
I'd guess Rockets vs Spurs will be the 5th game.

I'm going to guess San Antonio vs Houston

I'm trying to figure out the timeslots. Cavs/Dubs will be the main event game and that usually goes on around 3:30 or 5 Eastern on Christmas Day. My guess is its the 5pm game. Heat/Pels will be 12:30, Bulls/Thunder at 3. If they go Spurs for the 5th game, my guess is it'll be the 8pm game since due to timezones making the LA game the late game. My guess is its Spurs vs Rockets/Grizzlies

It is common sense, to have Clippers visiting Dallas, with DJ returning and all the drama it would bring.

They made the same mistake, not having Dwight returning to LA after the year he left.

The NBA usually look for drama in these games that will get high ratings.

Lakers again? There isn't Christmas, without the Lakers playing on that day.

The Lakers play on Christmas, for obvious reasons.

So the nation can watch them get their asses waxed and dunked on a million times? I'm down.

Christmas NBA can survive without the Lakers playing, and right now the lineup would be better without them. I'd rather see the Clippers play a title contender like the Spurs instead of beating the Lakers by 20(although I do enjoy seeing the Lakers get blown out).

You have to think business, to understand.

I realize more people will watch and/or buy Kobe Christmas jerseys if the Lakers are playing, I'm focusing on what will make for more entertaining games and I think it's obvious that Clippers/Spurs is better.

No doubt! I don't disagree with you at all, but you you know the NBA is about business and they have to do what's best to get the most money.

True, which is why teams like the Lakers and Knicks will get more games on national TV than teams who are better but in smaller markets. It's unfortunate but not all that surprising.

Miami/New Orleans? Don't understand that 1. I think the 5th one will be Spurs/Rockets as well.

They had to get New Orleans on the ticket. The NBA absolutely has to market Anthony Davis. He's such a beast and will be the one that will carry the torch in 3 years (or sooner).

Miami still has a ton of fans. They need to put another East team on the lineup. If we simply went by best teams, arguably 8 out of the 10 teams playing that day would be from the West.

yah i would have liked to ahve see na Spurs Clips game- that would have been awesome.

I like the GSW v. Cavs thing- thats definitely the best game on the schedule--- all though a Heat Cavs game would again be fun. with the trash talk between green/kyrie there should be a little friction at least

OKC v. CHicago could be pretty good- itll be interesting as both of them have new coaches to see where each team is at
