Many fans of college basketball weren't even born yet when Laettner hit the shot. That should make many of us feel old. I remember watching the Kentucky game at home when I was 16. The shot was nice, but that was quite a pass from Grant Hill.

They beat tRedmen of St. John’s.

Still one of my favorite basketball games, with my own eyes.

Me, my Dad, my best friend and his Dad.

high hopes my buddy and I keep it going, but CBB prolly peaked in there. And that’s okay.

CL was a dominant force. I don’t care what era. I witnessed greatness.

One of the great college basketball players of all time and certainly the most successful in terms of wins and championships. Never panned out in the pros; didn't work hard enough.

In retrospect, the shot he hit versus Kentucky was really cool.
