They fucking won?
Chris Chelios is returning to the Red Wings.
Not as a player. He says he's retired.
But Chelios, 48, will be hired for a role in the organization.
"It looks like I'm going to stay in Detroit and take a job with the Red Wings," Chelios told a Chicago Cubs TV audience Friday after singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field.
Wings general manager Ken Holland confirmed Chelios' return.
"He is joining our team but not as a player," Holland wrote in a text-message response. "Title not determined."
Chelios was wearing a Bob Probert Blackhawks' jersey backwards -- with "Probert" on the front -- in tribute to the late Hawks and Wings player.
Chelios to retire as player, take undetermined job with Wings
I'd say it was time. I'm gonna get drunk now, so if I come on here later and post some assholish shit please forgive as you always have.
