Two things,

Yes I think calling him an average at best coach when he has coached a bunch of after thoughts into Super Bowl contender, yes he is horrible.

I truly don't think the sanctions was that big of a reason for Carroll to leave. He was given the kingdom in Seattle when he left. If it were all about the sanctions then he would've just left and not thought twice about it, not gone to hearings nor defend SC.

Look up his lifetime NFL coaching record and then dispute he is an above average coach..... The numbers suggest otherwise. :noidea:

He might have been average his 1st try, you know what? So was Belicheck. Carroll is a damn good NFL coach that most teams would love to have.

Yes I do think he would have stayed , he is at best an average NFL head coach at USC he had some of the nations finest talent within a 60 mile radius of the campus.....

Put together a pretty talented squad in Seattle too.

They are all sleazy

Mike Shannahan sent Terrell Davis back onto the field, in the Superbowl, even though Davis couldn't see !

These college coaches who wreck their programs with NCAA violations should not be able to jump ship and run to the NFl.

Or at the very least have some sort of punishment in place so they are consistent. You can't hit a guy like Terrell Pryor with a suspension and let these coaches walk.

Wild card team that didn't advance , We will see.....

Didnt advance? So that Redskins game never happened?

And i guess that would mean that the Ravens had more talent than the niners too........ Maybe if it was 2008.

This always makes me laugh when I hear this excuse. The pressure of our defense finally wore him down and he broke. RG3 was hurt and he wanted to push it further than he should of. If he would of just sat in the pocket and dinked and dunked, he might of pulled it off. Plain and simple. Shanny should of had Cousins in that game way before he did.

Hawks smelled blood in the water and took advantage (isn't that what you want from your team?)

If Pete ever lets Wilson play in that condition, I will seriously question his intelligence,

Seattle fell behind 14 - 0 and 17 - 0 on consecutive weeks in the playoffs and lost the second game but we are supposed to be led to believe they are the team to beat next season .....

I will believe it when I see it.....

Can't really argue any of this post. Coming from behind in the fourth quarter is not the preferred method of winning a game. Although it is exciting for fans!

One thing the Hawks did do was make teams play for 60 minutes!:suds:

Weren't the Niner's down 17-0 and 17-3 in consecutive weeks in the playoffs and lost the second game?
