Chiefs trade 5th round pick for Cameron Erving

Guessing he's the new swing tackle? If so, Jah Reid is gone.

Its not difficult to see why the Chiefs traded for him. People are really ripping apart the interior run blocking that the Chiefs have displayed the past couple of games. This is nothing new, though. Oline had issues last year against the Steelers and Titans. I had G at TE as needs for the Chiefs in last years draft.

Zach Fulton is too slow to be a pulling zone blocking Guard type. Not sure if its a speed thing or a smarts thing but he isnt getting it done. There is some question as to whether Morse is strong enough to play in the middle, too. Not sure where Ehinger is in this process. He played well despite not being known as a run blocker last year but now is buried in the depth chart. Witzman also seems like he maybe should get a shot though Im not as familiar with him.

As for Cameron Erving....maybe next year?
