A lot of pass catching RB3 types. Gonna suck to be a RB2 or low RB1 in FA with this upcoming draft. While offense might not be a general strength of this draft, RB is.Charles, Peterson, who else?
A part of me really was hoping he'd restructure to chase the ring here one or two more times, but sadly it could not be. He's the most dynamic RB I've ever seen in person- and I'll swear on that.
Easily. Priest was running behind HOFers and lineman in their prime. In the early 2000's the Chiefs OL was similar to what Dallas' OL is now.more so than Priest Holmes?
If its 1st and 10, I'd take Charles every time and if its 3rd and 2 or 3rd and Goal I'd take Holmes every time.more so than Priest Holmes?
Fair.If its 1st and 10, I'd take Charles every time and if its 3rd and 2 or 3rd and Goal I'd take Holmes every time.
If Philly is willing cap wise I wouldn't be too surprised to see Charles in Philly.I think he'd be a good fit in New England. They have quite a few runningbacks to split carries and Jamaal would be incredible in the passing game. That said, I don't think the Pats would be willing to do that with James White on the roster who is a younger more healthy option... especially after that SBOWL performance.
I could see Charles winding up in Philly or Indy. Both teams need runningbacks with some threat on 3rd down and Irsay is the kind of dork that would spend a ton of money on Charles.
I can already tell we're not going to get along today.priest holmes >>>> charles
I think its also fair to say that Holmes played with a much better supporting cast. Larry Johnson certainly stepped in and did damage with many of the same characters.Fair.
holmes was a RB. he always was more or less. charles was a track star who learned how to run thru holes.I can already tell we're not going to get along today.

You are talking about a guy when healthy demolished defenses with raw talent, much the bane of a raiders defense but besides that an amazing talent. Guys like him do not last in this league, north south guys can last but a guy who can do it all has a timestamp on him. His career isnt over but he was a marvelous talent when healthy , "wow".gpriest holmes >>>> charles
Different games- different offenses- different rosters. Holmes had prime Trent Green, 2-3 HOF lineman and another solid center. If you want to talk about a track star playing RB- Chris Johnson would be a better case study. Jamaal actually does have very good vision and patience. Not Leveon Bell or Priest Holmes in the latter- but pretty darn good. He didn't stack a 5.0+ career YPC by just being fast- doesn't happen that way for RB's. Even the fastest RB's- including Charles- generally don't have olympian speed. Volume TD's doesn't mean much to me. Even the fastest player in the league wouldn't quite make that cut. He lost 1 if not two 2 steps after his first ACL, imo, and he still produced fine. Reducing him to being a track guy is a hot taek, imo.holmes was a RB. he always was more or less. charles was a track star who learned how to run thru holes.
charles never averages 100 YPG in a season. holmes did it twice. (115 and 111). charles highs are 91 and 94 YPG.
holmes was a TD machine. charles...well he scored 12 once.
