yep, us older fans can remember (in general anyway, haa) the late 70's as the rock bottom years. we were bad in 2004 and 2005, but those days were comparable if not worse.
by halftime it was game over.
this is why the 1981 season was so huge, cause the 49ers were bad for some time prior. this is also why i'll always view Montana as the GOAT, he was the QB coming out of those dark days. Young was more talented overall, but he came in when the 49ers were already good, so I can't fully appreciate him like younger fans.
Chiefs gonna break the record by week 9.
It all starts with QB and I've said time and again the the Chiefs have the single worst QB in the entire NFL. With the weapons on that offense even an above average QB should look like Dan Marino, but Cassel (the true Captain Checkdown) can't complete a pass farther than 8 yards down the field.
Chiefs fans are praying they can get their hands on either Geno Smith or Matt Barkley
(Most want Geno Smith)
No way they'll land Geno. If there're anywhere near Wilson, though, they should pull the trigger.
