This is the model franchise and I hope everyone appreciates what they've done - it's a hard thing to do and they are a special group

It was one of the first finals in a while where I would have been happy with either team winning - that's one of the reasons why I think this series was so good because both teams were truly really good

I hate the Blackhawks, but it was nice to see Duncan Keith get the Conn Smythe. Elite defenseman should get more recognition and accolades than they do.

Aww thats nuts! Actually its not. I am probably forgetting others, but I do not recall a coach joining the players in the on ice celebration (pre-handshake line) like he did last night.

I hope the Hawks and their fans enjoy this Cup win because once McJesus joins the Oil, the next five Stanley Cups will be going to the Oilers.

Hawks are just too good. Also I think it's interesting that they've had a different CS winner for each championship; Toews, Kane and Keith really make a remarkably balanced core.

Can't say I'm not jealous as a Pens fan - everything we were hoping our franchise would become....

Reminiscent of the Red Wings teams - 4 Cups in 11 seasons and 4 different CS winners, too.

I dislike it too. Four of every five Blackhawks "fans" I encounter, I try get into a conversation about hockey with them and they don't even know their own team.

Odd, considering that the Hawks have been winning championships pretty consistently for 6 years now. You would have thought they would have jumped on the bandwagon in 2010...

Look, before the Blackhawks were good, their games weren't even shown on local television. The fans didn't show up out of protest. This franchise wasn't even a laughing stock of the league like Edmonton is or Toronto is trying to become - it was just an afterthought, almost akin to what the Panthers are now.

Sure they've got a lot of bandwagon fans probably more in the college aged range, but they've got a hell of a lot of older fans that deserve this for all they had to put up with under Dollar Bill.

I'll take it, for all the years watching Esposito, Hull, Makita try and try again. All the walks into the old Chicago Stadium to watch my Blackhawks grind it out to no avail year after year. Just wish Dad was around to see this, alas he passed before they won it 6 years ago.
