Remember when Kompon was here and our PP sucked but our PK rocked.
Now he is a Blackhawk coach and our PP still sucks but our PK is worse.

Well they've looked a lot better tonight than they have for about a month. Still can't capitalize on their scoring chances though. Kings shots go off the posts and out or get tipped wide. Hawks shot hits the post and goes in. Another gets tipped in by a Kings defenseman (Greene). Happens when you're snake-bit like the Kings are.

Hawks just don't seem to have much trouble with the Kings.

That short sequence starting with the two on one looked good, lots of chances, Kings looking hungry. A bit late, but at least a positive to take away from the game?

But first they have to make the playoffs. Winning 1 game out of 10 isn't going to work. The only reason they're still in at the 6th seed is because Edmonton stinks, Calgary got off to a horrible start and are still pretty far back and Vancouver has been just about as bad as the Kings. They don't get out of this slump they could very well slip completely out of the playoff picture.

At what point does the heads start to roll? When does the captain have a closed door meeting? Sutter thinks this is a 3-2 league, which might be true, but he is complacent with losing 3-2 so he looks correct.

I think they are really just trying to hold on until the break. Once they come back, something will change if they continue down this path.

That's what I cited last week, they were 5-10-xx or so in 20 games. The thing is it snuck up on people because they would win one, lose one, lose in a SO, lose in OT, win one, go on a 3 game slide, win one, etc. It wasn't a "slide" in the true sense, it has been intermittent and scattered. But ultimately 2 months later you end up at 5-15-2.

This needs to be corrected and fast because it is just brewing for a massive implosion much like Andy Murray's teams did the last 6-8 weeks of the season.
