Don't bring it down to elephant level though. The Devils have been just as bad if not worse since clarkson spread his elephant so I don't think its working.

I think i lost hope for this season anyway during the west coast trip.
Feels like we keep saying okay next 3 games we need this many points, or this could turn it around, and how many games till this.
We'll get a few wins here and there but this season is mostly over as far as playoffs go(i'm being very pessimistic since there's only 5 points from us to the playoffs).
I guess the main thing is something needs to happen. I mean is Lou just trying to ride it out night after night? nothing's happening. I'm not saying it has to be the coach to go(although it's what i want) but these are desperate times for the Devils.
For me it's not enough to just keep saying this is a good group of guys and they are capable. Being good on paper guarantees jack. Rolston will probably come back against the Oilers and score a couple they'll say he was the missing link.
