In my neighborhood (suburban North Jersey) it wasn't worth having a nice bike...the darkies would always try to steal them. I never had to worry because I always had a no frills brand bike...Not a BMX but an RMX...I could leave that bad boy out on the front lawn all night and it would always be right where I left it the next morning.

We didn't have such problems in Old Tappan. We could leave bikes, good and bad, out all the time without worrying about losing them. Of course, we didn't have the same "problems" you had, Andrew......unless you consider Cory Booker.....
