I bet you're right if they are willing to gamble on their health and most of them probably think it's impossible to get sick since they have been told since grade school they wear the cape of Superman.

It is almost impossible for them to get truly sick by this. That is what the numbers show.

well lets see , they told us with social distancing that we would lose up to 2.3 mil people . not even close

they told us , at first , you could still travel , then we get lock downs

told us children were vulnerable but now that isnt true

they told us hospitals would be over run didnt happen

masks were only good if you were infected to keep others from getting it now they are good

cant tell me if it came from a bat in an open market or from a lab

told us we didnt have enough ventilators but now we are exporting them

these are what the scientist told us fauci front and center

so yeah i would take what they say with a grain of salt because they dont really know for sure . i am not mad at them but i would surely question them
Those are totally distorted facts you believe because of your political leaning. It makes no sense to ignore scientists and choose to believe the politicians that don't agree with them - absolutely none, zero, zippy. This seems like such basic common sense, and if you don't see that, I don't see how there can be a rational discussion - and that's my last comment here on that discussion, because this is a football forum.

Those are not distorted facts . They came straight from Fauci’s and Birx’s mouths . Questioning doesn’t mean not believing nor does it have to do with taking politicians words over scientists

no one said ignore scientists either nor is this an either / or proposition

facts are we were told a lot of things , we saw lots of projections and very little came to pass

now I am sorry if not being a sheep is somehow a lack of common sense but when numbers don’t add up I will question it

Actually, we should probably look at the evidence ourselves and use our understanding to make informed decisions. What dad described was what the scientists claimed and what really happened. Maybe we should listen to the doctors and not the scientists who have stated there are underlying reasons that don’t actually go toward the science as the driving factor of decisions.

Listening to the dissenting voice in the sea of fear is usually wise...if we had a time machine we could ask the Jews and the slaves.

Just stop - seriously.

This was a week before the draft. I'm really not trying to call anyone out, especially you @skinsdad62. You make this board go. I just have to push back on the narrative that there was a bunch of Herbert buzz from Skins fans and on this board. Heading into the draft.

I looked at both threads. I saw some Dexter Manley comparisons. I even went full Lawrence Taylor. Smh

The only poster who.had reservations on Chase was @Sportster 72. He posted an article saying Chase wasn't Bosa and a couple of other comments from him as well kinda politely asking the rest of us to slow our roll on Chase.

If you can show me where all the Herbert buzz was ill stand corrected.

The Washington Commanders are expected to open defensive end Chase Young’s 21-day practice window this week, a team employee who was granted anonymity because the move is not yet official told The Athletic on Monday. Coach Ron Rivera’s postgame comments Sunday hinted at Young returning to practice this week.

If the team makes the move as expected, the standout will be allowed to practice with the team and the organization will have 21 days to activate him. Even if Young returns to practice, it’s unlikely he plays against newly named Colts starting quarterback Sam Ehlinger this week.

Logically, there’s excitement for Young to rejoin his teammates on the field. At the same time, there is no rush. Selected with the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Ohio State alum is central to Washington’s long-term plans and therefore, the decision-makers won’t let immediate needs trump big-picture plans.

That the players filling in, namely James Smith-Williams, along with reserves Efe Obada and Casey Toohill, are steady presences alongside tackles Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne plus DE Montez Sweat, affords patience.

“The last two weeks have been very good for those (players),” Rivera said last week. “It takes a lot of pressure off. It does.”

Washington’s defense labored during the first two regular-season games but has become a force since with the line leading the charge. The Commanders are second in the league in third-down defense, holding opponents to 29.55 percent, after ranking 31st last season. Green Bay finished 0-for-6 on Sunday, the first time the team failed to convert a third-down chance since 1999.

Young, the 2020 defensive rookie of the year, suffered a right ACL tear in Washington’s Week 10 win over Tampa Bay last season. The surgery to address the injury was not straightforward — surgeons grafted part of his healthy left patella tendon to help repair the injured knee.

Young had a virtual meeting yesterday with Dr. James Andrews, who performed the surgery last year.

“Everything was pretty good,” Rivera said Sunday about the meeting. “He did a workout which we sent to the doctors as well, and for the most part, we will get the update on Wednesday as to what we are going to do for sure. But it was all positive.”
