Chase for October: 2nd AL Wildcard race

This is getting really interesting. Houston is folding like a cheap tent and Minnesota cannot capitalize on Houston struggles which is now giving teams like the Angels, Indians, & O's hope.

These 4 teams are separated by 4.5 games with about 2 weeks left in the year. I'll post the remaining schedules for all 4 teams shortly

The four series I bolded should be instrumental in deciding who wins the second WC. Minnesota home against KC........KC will should have everything wrapped up and the only reason they will have to play for is knocking Minnesota out. Angels @ Texas.......I don't think Texas runs away from the rest of the West so this series could mean something more than the WC. Baltimore's final seven........Those two series should speel the end to any chances the O's have.

Minnesota just doesn't have the pitching to finish this thing. They're done, for all intents and purposes. Jusst need to finish out the schedule.

They gave it the old college try when most didn't even have them in the running. Something to build on for next year.

But yeah... they exceeded expectations. I'm not disappointed as long as they can finish above .500.

Kinda has that "so close, yet so far" feeling. That feeling burns. Going into the offseason with optimism is really, really, nice though. I'm not a big believer that the Royals have the ability to keep doing this every year. AL Central looks like it could be anyone's next year. Kinda like the AL West this year.
