When Charlie got bamboozled against Philly a lot though Chuck was done. Although he wasn't able to break the losing streak, not fault of his, he did do what stoppers are suppose to do.

He still has a lot of worker to do to figure out lefties but hopefully last night shows him that his hard work is showing.

Yeah..... Morton put up a great start last night, but Chicago doesn't have the quality of lefty bats that some other teams have. Maybe Morton should study how Halladay pitches to lefties (although I'd be surprised if the Pirates haven't thought of that).

It's just a shame that the offense couldn't do anything against Garza.

He looked good, had the curve working too. The right handed lineup helped, then Colvin got himself kicked out.

I think the curve is the key to pitching to lefties for Morton, but he needs something else to throw to them, too.

For now, if he dominates righties and pitches damage control against lefties, he should be fine.
