He's been playing safety. Dude is done. Maybe as a backup that can provide some veteran guidance at the vet minimum; but that's about it.

Agree that I'd rather have Reed if we have to go that route.

Just to be completely accurate he hasn't been at safety exclusively if anybody was wondering about it. He moved around. Just yesterday I read the percentages. I'll see if I can find them again.

I think most of his CB was as the slot guy in nickel/dime, as well, right? It's not like he's been 1 v 1 on the perimeter in some time.

And if he was 1v1 on the perimeter, the first question I would ask is if it had something to do with an injury?
