Haven't seen any numbers yet. He was set to be a FA after this year. I know some people on here that have mentioned him in the past when FAs were discussed.

And the Raiders signed Andre Carter. Sick, among others, have brought his name up in the past.

:(

Would've been nice to add a situational pass rusher if he got healthy. He's much better in a 4-3 though; in fact, he's an above average starter if he's healthy.

BostonHerald.com - Blogs: The Blitz Blog Archive Sources: Andre Carter agreed to injury waiver with Raiders

Injuries are still a concern for former Patriots defensive end Andre Carter, who signed today with the Raiders.

The Raiders made Carter sign an injury waiver for his quad and back, according to sources. Carter tore his quad in Week 15 last season, and he still isn’t back to full strength after surgery. The waiver would financially protect the Raiders if Carter suffered a setback with either injury.

Carter and the Patriots reached an impasse in contract discussions early in the offseason when Carter wanted Pro Bowl money and the Patriots were more interested in staying in the range of his one-year deal in 2011 that was worth $2.75 million, according to a source.
