Okay, Broncos. The AFC West window is wide open tonight and next Thursday. Let's go!

This only helps the Broncos if they hold serve both on Sunday Night Football AND Thursday Night Football. It is a very positive development, though.

With that, the Chiefs even up their record at 3-3. Does anyone think we were too fast to write them off?

Outside of Oakland, I think you can't write off either of our other AFCW rivals. The Chiefs gave us everything we could handle in week 2 and we still have to travel to Arrowhead. Playing at KC has been a house of horrors for us in the past.

I still believe that the Broncos are the most complete team in the division though. As a fan, I'm really waiting to see that perfect Broncos game where the offense, defense and special teams put it together on the same Sunday. Maybe that's tonight! Go Broncos!

Yes. Or at least I was. Take away their stinker against the Titans, and they've played really good football.

That said, yesterday's games really couldn't have worked out better for us. The Chiefs not only won, but they controlled the ball for nearly 40 minutes and really wore down that Chargers defense. Bad news for them on a short week.

Then we go out for the Sunday night game and build a big enough lead that we were able to pull guys early and get the key guys some extra rest. That could be a huge difference on a short week like this.

Very good point Broncos6482! I hadn't thought of it that way. It definitely was a fun Sunday for Bronco fans...Loved seeing the Seahawks and Raiders lose as well.

I will say the Chiefs are starting to scare me a little more with each passing week. After week 1 I thought they were finally playing at the level I thought they should be. Andy Reid though deserves some major respect for keeping that team going. Our narrow victory over them isn't looking as bad as one first thought. That November 30th game could be a loss that before the season I did not expect to happen.

I think both the win over the Chiefs and the win over the Colts look better and better every single week. That game in Arrowhead later this year could be extremely difficult, especially with it being a Sunday Night, prime time game. The good news is although Arrowhead has traditionally been a house of horrors for us, Manning has pretty much had his way with the Chiefs (both home and away) his entire career.

It is true he has had his way so I still like our chances. I would say our offense is looking much better at this point as well. We finally seem to have gotten the idea that we need to establish the pass first to then establish the run gam instead of the other way around. Soften up the defense a bit.

I picked KC to cover the spread yesterday. Them getting the outright win was only gravy.

I'm admittedly prone to being overly optimistic, but I'm thinking that we continue to improve and house SD Thursday night.

I hope we do TD...Would love to build a 3-game lead in the division (2 actual games ahead plus the tie breaker). Throw in the 2nd half our schedule is quite a bit easier than the 1st half. I'm loving the tougher schedule though for this season. The team definitely looks much more prepared to handle teams like San Fran and Seattle than the year before. We are playing with that nastiness that we wanted and are finally a team that is pushing everybody else around instead of the other way around.

Well, would be a 1.5+ game lead, instead of a 2+ game lead...... at least until SD has their bye week.
