Fuck.
Hunter has been much better this season, but he still has a penchant for giving up the long ball.
Fuck 2-1 bad guys.
He's also a pretty good hitter too....not bad numbers against Cole either. Have to assume it may have been an injury/precautionary thing.Really weird move and it seems a little un-Bochy like. He runs out relief pitchers to the plate all the time. Why would he pull his starting pitcher after only 70 pitches when he is dominantly (minus one pitch).
He could be feeling the fatigue. The entire bully has been overused. He hasn't had a problem until this month (well, except last years playoffs), where he's given up all his homers. I'm worried that he's going to start thinking about it too much.
Even precautionary doesn't make sense. He didn't seem to show any signs of problems and 70 pitches is typically the limit half way through spring training. He's also a pretty good hitter too....not bad numbers against Cole either. Have to assume it may have been an injury/precautionary thing.
Maybe he was on a strict pitch count? All his ABs (save for 1) was un stressful, though. He's also a pretty good hitter too....not bad numbers against Cole either. Have to assume it may have been an injury/precautionary thing.
I do think I'd rather have the manager suffering from a one decision episode of ineptitude rather than another injury for Leake.Maybe he was on a strict pitch count? All his ABs (save for 1) was un stressful, though.
True, but you can't live life playing it safe. He was only in the stretch for 1 AB, so it was a very soft 77.I do think I'd rather have the manager suffering from a one decision episode of ineptitude rather than another injury for Leake.
