Not a great situation for him with Luck snd Brissett locked in but at this point better then on the couch drinking beer. He can play!! Does he have the brains?? So far he has no proved that part.

Judging from the incident that led to his Denver Bronco's departure. Kelly has mental health issues. I wish him the best.

I think Brissett is a free agent at year end so if he can go in and put in the work he might be able to be the backup in 2020.

Colts didn't sign ex-Broncos QB Chad Kelly after all

The Colts signed four tryout players after rookie minicamp concluded, and Kelly wasn’t among them. So the 25-year-old is still a free agent. Indy may consider Kelly down the road, but he’s not a Colt right now.

Looks like Kelly didn't work out with Indy.

I'm going to suggest that Chad Kelly has some mental health issues - based purely on my non-clinical observations of his episodic behavior. Even if Chad Kelly has his issue under control - there is a stigma to also overcome about mental health issues. Now his Uncle can't call an old pal and vouch for his nephew again - that's already be used.

I wish him well - because I think he could have been a terrific QB in the NFL - under a different alignment of the stars.
