Just a Question that popped in my head when looking at the ND Schedule. in 2022...............

Why Not chose the NFL Stadium in Cleveland and Cincinnati Instead of Columbus?

Lke us Playing Wisky in Soldier Field and Lambeau, Until Covid, and then Byu in Vegas.

The Shoe holds more people (104,000+) than Cleveland's stadium (67,000+) or Cincy's (65,000+).

Cincy beat them but they also caught them at the right time their O-Line was a mess then. Notre Dame has been playing much better the last 5 weeks and improved through the season so they may not win the game if they played today but it is what it is Notre Dame had their shot and they didn't do what they needed to.

I was hoping for an Ohio State/N.D. bowl game. Thought it would have made an interesting storyline if Freeman's first game as Irish HC was against his alma mater.

At least not according to the AP poll as the B1G has produced almost the same # of Top 25 ranked teams over the past several years.

It's hilarious when fans of other conferences talk about the SEC's non-conference games. When you go through the gauntlet of the SEC, you need a couple of little 10, pac 12, big 12 caliber teams to play for a break. The SEC is the minor leagues and everything else is just college.

B1G = 30

Bama is superior to everyone, the rest of the SEC is pretty average.

Yep. 10Htownrebs. Yesterday when I mentioned the other teams in the top 10 below the Bearcats all have at least two losses (except N.D. obviously) he mentioned something about SoS. So I guess that 4th CFB playoff spot should have been filled by a team with a better SoS than Cincy regardless of how many losses a team has.

That is an amazing stat. The SEC has had as many different teams win it as the 2nd place conference total, and total of the other 3 conferences put together.

Could use some overall OOC stats though, but they may verify the general hypothesis.

The SEC is the elite conference in all of CFB and it's not even close. The number of national titles they have racked up this century is proof of that.

You can't make an argument against the SEC (which is dumb in the first place) and only go by the last 6-7 years. I'll go by this century instead.

Let's take Bama outta this for a second. The SEC still has more titles than any other conference. Six- LSU 3x, Florida 2x, Auburn.

So when you wanna overly pimp-up all things Minnesota you'll go all the way back to the 1930's and earlier. But when discussing the SEC you only wanna talk about the last 6-7 years? Moving the goalposts isn't going to work. SEC > all other conferences.
