Cena will turn heel

It's a matter of timing...but eventually Cena will turn. I watched hogans turn last night when he joined wcw, and hogans turn changed wrestling it was so huge. But hogan basically stayed heel his entire career at wcw.

I see Vince doing the same with Cena....when he needs it most, he will flip Cena, but Vince knows it can only happen once. With Cena, it's north a turn you can make back and forth, I think once Cena turns he's turned for good. Maybe maybe one last face turn to only go out and retire.

But not even hogan was face his entire career. So IMO it will happen, it's just going to be at the absolute most necessary time and Vince only gets one shot at it.

WCW had to do something major in the mid-'90s to generate buzz and get people to start tuning in. WWE doesn't have to go that route as there's no one close to them in terms of wrestling competition (in other words, they're in a position where they can just play it safe and not try to experiment).

I saw an interview with Vince a few years back. He said that if he ever turned Cena Heel, it wouldn't be half assed, he would make Cena the biggest Heel ever. I think they have an opportunity now. Have Cena offer to wrestle Bryan to unify the US/International Titles. In the middle of the match, Rusev comes out to attack Cena, and Reigns makes the save, but then all 3 turn on Bryan and beat him to near death. Cena makes out about the ungrateful fans who boo him, it plays in with Reigns getting booed as Cena 2.0. Rusev brings heat for the whole Russian deal. By beating down Bryan, they are guaranteed massive heat, but will also be cheered by all the people sick of their characters

Not saying it's happening anytime soon. But by the end of his career there is a heel run.

You might consider Cena the biggest face/heel ever. Its almost perfect now, fans love to like him and they love to hate him. The turn will be after any marketing dollars are restructured in his new contract.

It wont be during this us title reign, thats for sure.

Once Reigns get established as the top good guy in the Company and gets on Cena's level of merchandise sales, Cena and Reigns will have a feud where Cena turns heel and will lead to a huge Wrestlemania match where Cena puts Reigns over(hopefully clean but I doubt it). It may be next year it may be 5 years from now but it WILL happen.

Actually if Cena turned heel soon, he would probably get more cheers then boos. Sorta funny. Eventually his PG loyalty fans will grow up and realize how repetitive and cheesy his character is.

Well they've now given him the role of "Captain America" and he played it pretty well last night. Rusev has grown on me as a heel and the Anti-American angle was tiring at first, but now it kinda works.

I also like that Cena is leaving an open challenge to every wrestler and will defend his belt each week.

Giving Cena and Bryan the US and Intercontinental title makes both titles relevant again.

I'm conflicted on if Cena turns heel, are the fans that boo him out of the building going to cheer for him all of a sudden? It just seems he should keep doing his thing on being a polarizing character, he can always help turn heels into faces

Big Bad Cena is already a heel. He is booed wherever he goes and gets away with things that no other face would. Like putting a hold on someone until they pass out only to wake them up and do it again. This ain't Billionaire Ted's wrasslin company.

Cena revealed he was suppose to turn Heel when he was feuding with The Rock and went so far to Buy new Wrestling Attire and Recorded a new theme song but ultimately they changed their minds and decided against it.
