Do you have any info on Tyrese Samuel. 4* that's only taken 1 OV so far (to Wake) and has none scheduled in the future.

i thought Wake's class was going to be a dumpster fire, but i'm intrigued now that they have 4* Ismael Massoud in the fold

No. He was only discussed briefly a while back on the Uconn board. It sounds like Uconn is back on Akok since Kentucky hasn’t offered yet, and is also all in for cockburn and precious. Get those 3 and Uconn will be back very fast.

apparently Duke didn't offer, so it looks Harris is VT bound

Ohio State landed 19' IL PF EJ Liddell yesterday

EJ Liddell, Belleville West, Power Forward

Gives us 3 top 50 caliber players for the 19 class in Liddell, DJ Carton & Alonzo Gaffney. Holtmann seems to be bringing us back as a player on the national recruiting stage. Not quite on the level of the Dukes and Kentuckys of the world, but if his coaching ability holds true his teams will be able to compete on the big stage.

I'm not sure if Holtmann is responsible for that.

Recruiting before Thad Matta was pretty meh to abysmal under Jim O'Brien.

Matta slipped big time at the end. His last full class finished 42nd as a 4 player class. Holtman was able to sort of salvage what was left of the 17 class after Matta had left.

The Mickey Mitchell class was highly rated, everyone transferred though. Which is probably a good bit of blame on Matta.

Ohio State is a name but it definitely takes some work to get top basketball players there.

Health issues and sadly a lack of care to go along with it from what it seemed like. Program went stale really quick. He wasnt the greatest player developer to begin with but the last few years that really went into the toilet as well.

About to have some serious trouble paying his ex-wife her alimony (a system so laughably broken that it's really what has been driving this whole fight between school and coach).
