we finally agree on something. Mike Brown couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. he should've been kicked to the curb with him...

We have agreed on...maybe not a lot but some :D

...and I wrote that poorly.

I meant that the CLE roster was a shit dumpster currently on fire and if Mike Brown had the super power of coaching a pile of shit then that flaming pile of shit neatly piled in a dumpster named the CLE roster would win more often.

However, clearly he is not a very good coach either, because his team is subordinate.

Fired the GM for what? The roster is fine. The players are just quitters and the coach is garbage. To show you how do this team is, swap Irving with either LBJ, Durant, Paul, Curry, or etc and this team is easily one of the top 3 teams in basketball. When your supporting cast include Deng, Waiters, Vareoj, Jack, and Thompson you should easily be a good team once your star is playing like a star

There is a few teams that will need to clean out their GM's and coaches if the stupidity continues. Cleveland does not hold that exclusivity. Their are even ownership teams that need to sell out and get quality leadership in.

The league is changing. Coaches need to change, and means to build teams needs to change

The obvious thing with Cleveland is that they don't have a plan.

I'm sure someone thought adding Bynum to the roster looked awesome on paper but every casual to hardcore fan knew that Bynum wasn't reliable. Thompson was a 'fit' draft pick so you let that one pass. Waiters and Bennett were reaches based on 'talent evaluation' and neither fit the the team. It would make sense to draft them if you planned on trading them at some point but you actually have to develop those players to make them tradable. The Deng signing would suggest that they are still trying to make the playoffs which is laughable.

It honestly sounds like the Owner wanted to make a playoff push and the GM wanted to rebuild and they both sucked. The coach just wants to play defense and these young guys aren't getting the proper environment to develop their game.

The problem is neither the coach nor the gm, but the owner. As long as you have an owner who insists in staying in Ohio, the Cavs will be bad

Should've fired Mike Brown instead of the GM. Although, Anthony Bennett at the number one pick is not exactly working out.

"We’re going to see Mike Brown succeed this year,'' Dan Gilbert said. "I think he will be able to do good things in the next 30 games or so. I think this team is going to be able to do good things.''
