Same here, I have always liked him and I hope he does well. But I bet he has gotta be under alot of pressure. I think Montreal made the right choice but IMO only if the kid is given time. He will struggle and have bad times, just gotta ride them out. I still wished they got more for Halak though, honestly I dont know who they got other than Eller but he is young and needs time too. But Patience is not a Virtue known to Fans in Montreal, so we will see...
The Funniest thing though is last year the Habs were basically one game on either end (them losing a game or another team winning a game) from not making the playoffs an then Who the Heck knows what would have happened. They probably get next to nothing for Halak...
Also think from a Team Chemistry and Building aspect, that team last year was put together that year. If it had ended in the regular season those guys would have never seen what each other was capable of with everything on the line, those 19 game were more valuable than the regular season, which is why they have started well (and a kinda weak schedule). I think they will have some struggles later on but I think these guys trust each other and I hope they keep most these guys together for a few years and see what happens...
On my phone so not playing the video, but know exactly which save is referenced.
If the Canes player (LaRose or Cole, cant remember) was able to one time it, Price wouldn't have had a chance.
That ever so slight delay to settle it was all Price needed to steal a goal.
Great Freakin save. God Damn it!
Was 5-2 at the time. That goes in its 5-3 with a ton of time left.
You could call that one a game changer for sure.
