They definitely haven't been choking in 1 run games or extra innings though. I think that's what Dare thought you were implying.

Sure, I got that. This year's Pirates are really good in close games for sure. I was just posting after the that was the Cards last sequence.

There is no way that the Cardinals are as bad as theyve been playing the past 5-6 weeks but at some point, the trend becomes who they are and every year you see 1-3 teams completely crash out of the playoffs. You can't have a team expect to make the playoffs beating the Padres and Marlins while getting swept by the Rangers, Braves and beaten by any and all good teams.
