This is gonna be our biggest series since Maddox and Glavine got strike calls 2 feet off the plate, combining this with trade deadline makes it such a huge 4 days. Damn I'm nervous typing this

The entire baseball world are massive Pirates fans for this series. Would you guys pleeeeeease take at least 3/5?

Will be tuning in and pulling hard for the Bucs. Beat the shit out of these guys and we could be looking back on this series in the postseason!

What makes this series tougher yet is the fact that the Cards are being swept by the Braves. They will be mighty pissed about that. The Buccos will need to hit with runners in scoring position or St. Louis could take 4 of 5. Let's hope that is not the case.

Agree completely, but I really don't see this as a make-or-break series. I think a lot of people see it that way and I don't get it. This series will definitely serve as a good measuring stick against top competition, but with the amount of division games that the Bucs have left, I just done see how this series defines the season. But, it's definitely interesting that both teams are scuffling heading into this. I'd be content with taking two games out of this. It wouldn't be great, but it wouldn't be a disaster.

The NL central is going to be a dog fight down to the end, but when you look at all the teams, the Cards have the better lineup and stronger bench. My brother-in-law is a life long Cards fan, so with my Pads crumbling out of the gate, I'm givin' him some San Diego love.
