Well, his first two years the Chiefs had Brandon Carr and Brandon Flowers as their CBs. In the offseason following his second season they lost Carr and gave Stanford Routt big money. Then they cut Routt and Arenas started the rest of the year.
He may not work out, but how many starts he made probably isn't the best way to evaluate that. Especially through 3 years.
Aaron Rodgers had 0 starts in his first 3 seasons. Alex Smith had 30. Ryan Leaf had 18. Tim Couch had 37.
Based on starts after 3 seasons, that Aaron Rodgers guy must not have worked out.
