Fuck that frogger. Bitch owes me money.True that.
Your cousin Kermit knows.
Can’t wait for Fordman to answer!I haven't poked anything. Christ damn almighty, man, you call yourself a fucking mod? This bag of trash is the one poking me, not the other way around! You SUBJECTIVELY decided my videos were "continuing" to make things political, which they weren't. I think your judgment is SHIT. But, hey, that's just my opinion. I sat my little time out, as you no doubt noticed, without complaint.
This .....person....directly associates me with a well known and highly political organization, and that gets a pass? Well, you're a NAZI.
@fordman84 I appeal to you for a more fair assessment.
It’s a unique talent for sure.what kind of dumbass gets banned from the TV forum? what a twat.
Hey, the sidekick shows up. Shocker. Can’t wait for Fordman to answer!
What a whinny little bitch Toad is.
Jackass....I plan on seeing it. I'm a comic book fan. But Larson's sexist, racist, condescending progressive drivel has demonstrably affected to the negative buzz for this film. You can ignorantly and flippantly dismiss that but when it under performs from projected models....and NO ONE wants a sequel? Yeah. It's first blood.
thoughts and prayers
Also Marvel was smart to make her the person to bring back the avengers now it is an added incentive to go and watch the movie to see how exactly she does it. But if this movie tanks and all the marvel characters are officially back a Captain Marvel 2 might now happen for a long time
What makes you think she'll be the one to bring them back? Tony, maybe, but with the time travel all but confirmed, and the original cast taking the center stage, and it being RDJr and Evans swan song, don't expect her to be a huge lead. Oh, I'm sure she might deliver the Thanos death blow to cement the "she's the best of them all!!!!" narrative, but the movie should be about Cap and IronMan and to a far lesser extent, Thor.
Great post.As far as I've always know politics is allowed in this forum. Which is understandable. Movies do have political aspects. And comic books most definitely have political influence. Ie Captain America as just one of the more simpler examples.
4. Politics: Discussing politics is allowed, but only in moderation, and it must be in passing and remain civil. Some movies are impossible to discuss without venturing into the political realm. And some movies should at least have political aspects discussed or mentioned. But this is not the Political Forum. When a thread risks getting derailed, the political topic needs to be abandoned. If you want to continue the topic, create a thread in the Political Forum.
Entertainment Forum Rules
As I interpret this the emphasis on the forum rule is that it doesn't derail a thread. Tbh I would think linking the thread in the meltdown alert thread. Derails the thread much more. As it takes the thread completely off topic. Into an area that has nothing do with the movie. But thats just logic imo

I'm not sure who read The Infinity War or Infinity Gauntlet. They did leave quite a bit out in Infinity war. Ie the whole reason for thanks's actions were to impress lady Death. But if they stay at least semi true to the story. Nebula would be the one playing the biggest role. If they utilize Captain Marvel that by nature would be political. That would be the only way changing the Infinity Gauntlet story in that direction. Would make any sense imo
I can tell you how the Infinity Gauntlet ends as per the comics. But that would be a potential spoiler if they chose that direction. Which is the direction it should follow imo
I do enjoy the movies and shows quite a bit. I grew up on comic nooks. But they really have watered down quite a bit of the stories. When dealing with the movies and series. I really enjoyed Daredevil but there are major differences. They put out an entire episode portraying Page as a victim that became a hero after a loss due to her drug addiction. When in the comics she leaves to become an actress. Gets into pron and heroin. And sells Matt Murdoch out for a fix.Great post.
So as to get along with others, I'll forgo further comment on the political aspect within the thread.
As to the later about the Gauntlet story influencing the films, I don't think (this is just my opinion) Endgame will draw too much from comic book source material (as in, any single story). We know time travel will be involved, the Battle of New York (at the very least) will be revisited, Professor Hulk is likely to appear...I think this film will focus heavily on Cap and Tony (as it should), and has to wrap up 10 years of stories and the original team while setting up the next phase. It'll be quite a task but so far Marvel hasn't dropped the ball.
I don’t quite understand what the hell is going on.
But I don’t see how the lead actress being a raging and Open racist and sexist is relevant to the discussion of the movie.

I did like Infinity war but they really left a lot out of the story. And kinda strayed off in a different direction. They didnt even mention Lady Death Trying to impress Lady Death was Thano's reasoning for wiping out half the universe.. I don't see why captain Marvel would have anything to do with Infinity Gauntlet. Nebula plays a massive role in that story. Changing that would seriously kill a great story imo
Don't get me wng I do like a lot of the movies and series. But I do also think they are tinkering a bit too much. And taking away from some great stories. in the process
Thats why I said they left quite a bit out. Liked Infinity wars could have been better. Saving my final opinion on the series. Until after I see how they tie it together and sum it up in Infinity Gauntlet. Taking the focus off Nebula's role in the story. And spotlighting Captain Marvel or another character instead. Would be a major let down. To what was a classic comic book series. And would both defeat and change the meaning behind the story. But there's more than just Lady Death missing. There is no Adam Warlock so far.

They failed to cover a lot of things that played a major role in Infinity Wars. Gotta see what direction they go in Infinity Gauntlet. But Lady Death was Thano's purposeI haven't read the source material, but I'm assuming that Thanos isn't winning like this because of Peter's love of a chick?
This is what worries me about Infinity Gauntlet. Nebula wasn't really a "hero" by any definition in Infinity Gauntlet. So that really shouldn't be a factor. Thats part of what made it such a great storyI doubt they will have Nebula play the same role in the movies as she did in the books (from the little I know of the books). She is too minor a player in the movies to be the ultimate hero.
Seeing as they are supposedly trying to set Captain Marvel up as the new central hero for Phase 4 and beyond, I suspect she will be the one to ultimately save the day.
Adam Warlock has only been briefly hinted at and will likely be the focus of GotG 3, so he won’t have anything to do with Endgame.
The best way I can put it Bipassing Nebulas role in Infinity Gauntlet. And pushing Captain Marvel. Would be the equivalent of making a spiderman series that jumps right to Mary Jane. And ignores one of the most iconic moments in comic book history with Gwen Stacy.Nebula is going to play a bigger role in Endgame just by having fewer Avengers to put on screen, but I expect Thor and Captain Marvel to play pretty large roles as well being the most powerful. I'm completely baffled on Hulk's role.
