A useful idiot.
I don't know why, but ticket prices for tonight's games are reminding me of prices in the '80s at the old Capital Centre. I imagine it's a mix of early season + Monday night + cold weather + poor visiting team draw = 5 bucks for a $50 ticket. (Ritari - I hope you were able to take advantage of tonight's cheap prices!)
Caps are 2-3 when I attend, and 10-0 when I don't. So, tonight is a final test. If they lose with me there (against the Leafs no less), I'm gonna have to watch the rest of the season from home for the good of the team!!
I'm especially psyched b/c my favorite Capital - Mathieu Perreault - has been called up from Hershey and will anchor the center spot on the 2nd line tonight. Looks like Michael Neuvirth will be in net as the Caps continue to flip flop the two 'tenders in their season-long audition for the 2011 playoffs. Caps are placing someone on IR tomorrow, but not disclosing who it is yet (though its not OV, Semin, or any of the bigs).
Let's go Caps!!!
